This event helps raise scholarship funds for low income schools to receive our award-winning, hands-on environmental education programs - Insect Discovery Lab and Edible EdVentures. This event also raises funds for critical conservation projects in threatened ecosystems that are biodiversity hotspots - rainforests, coral reefs and migratory mammal habitat. For every $100 you raise, we can save 2 acres of rainforest or provide an Insect Discovery Lab or Edible EdVentures class scholarship. What is the minimum donation to participate? $30/adult and $15/child. However, we encourage you to fundraise in your community. See our awesome prizes for donations of $250+. How do I register? A fun evening of bowling, shoes, pizza, door prizes, admission to the silent auction, vacations and other big prizes for donations $250 and up, a t-shirt for each donation of $50+. Your donations are tax deductible, except for the silent auction. How can I participate if I can't bowl? -raise funds in your community and make a group donation to win a prize -come to the silent auction without bowling -bid on the online silent auction items here -donate to a participant in Bowl the Planet here -make a direct donation here Is this a kid friendly event? Yes, we make this especially fun for kids with bumber bowling, pizza, kid prizes and antennae and more! We encourage people to wear costumes of their favorite species. For adults, it's a fun night out and alcohol is available for purchase at the bowling alley. How do I get to Serra Bowl? The event is at Serra Bowl in Daly City (3301 Junipero Serra Boulevard), which is only 0.2 miles from Colma BART. Directions from Colma BART below. 1.Head northwest go 72 ft 2.
